Hi! My name is Karina and I’m the creative mind behind FRIDA Photo Memories.  FRIDA because of the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, since I was little I was impressed with her work and life so I took that name as my artistic name.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from St Catherine’s College in Montevideo, Uruguay and I graduated as a professional photographer from Miami Photo Art Academy.

What started as a hobby ended up us my career, I have been working as a full time photographer for the past three years and I have enjoyed every minute of it.  I love working with people and bringing out the best of their personality in every work I do, this is why I have a photojournalistic approach rather than the formal posed portrait. I also enjoy helping them to keep their memories alive, not only with photo shoots but also with a big array of services that go from professional DVD slide shows and photo books for specific occasions to photo organization and restoration.
